A peek inside....

My office! We were voted one of the world's coolest workplaces for 2011 :)

- 1st pic- what our desks look like
- 2nd pic- side view of the main lobby
- 3rd pic- where we have our weekly meetings
- 4th pic- where I eat lunch. yes, that's a ski ball machine
- 5th pic- another "meeting" space, and where I had one of my interviews
- not bad, eh?

We also launched our LivingSocial Gourmet line today and made headlines. To celebrate, they "surprised and delighted" us with an afternoon wine & cheese snack!
Other than ^^^, I have a few other updates...
- Hubby made it back from Austin in one piece! The 2011 Livestrong Challenge went well. He rode on the Klctve Fusion team which is sponsored by Frank Restaurant {as seen the google commercial} and Mellow Johnny's {Lance Armstrong's bike shop in Austin}. He finished 60 miles and came in first in his group. He's so dreamy ;)
Zeke and his Canlas cousins
Washing down the victory with Andre's finest bottle from the 2011 vintage ;)
- I finally had some Britt time yesterday! We had a football watching date at CarPool in Ballston then grabbed dinner at Cava's newest location in Clarendon. The food was ah-ma-zing!! And french toast was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Fresh whipped cream with strawberries AND raspberries. MMMMM!
- Last but not least... we already have a buyer for the chair! It was only posted for about 3 hours on Craig's List, and it's going to a really cute family that lives in Maryland. Me and the wife emailed back and forth about 20 times over the last day- she's super sweet. I feel o.k. about selling it to them, it's going to a good home.
It was nice knowing you, chair.
This week we are getting ready for Mama and Papa J's rescheduled trip to DC this weekend! They were supposed to come in August but there was the whole earthquake/hurricane situation that kind of ruined our plans. I'm working on weekend plans, but aside from the usual sightseeing we have a trip to some Virginia wineries planned for Saturday and brunch at Kafe Leopold on Sunday. Getting giddy just thinking about it! The weather is perfect, Fall is kicking in, the leaves are staring to turn... Friday can't come soon enough.
Off to bed for this girl- have a great week!
