Kicking Off College Football

What's better than having some of your best friends in town, football, meat, beer, and Boone's Farm?

Nothing.

Yesterday marked our 3rd annual College Football/Labor Day party. We had a little bit of a slow start {much like my Red Raiders did against Texas State}, but the day turned out to be quite entertaining {and Tech won thank god!!}. We added a few new faces to the mix and bonded over flip cup and dance-offs.

The oven roasted brisket that my hubby made turned out absolutely perfect and was gone in 2.5 seconds, and Rita was definitely the star of the show. I never thought I would get so excited about a blender, but this thing is just awesome!! The only downside is the drinks are so good that you lose count... and the next think you know you're at a bar and the bartender won't serve you because you fell asleep while waiting for a beer and your friends take you home. At least that's what happened to me. Nonetheless, it was the perfect day :)

We're about to head downtown for some sight seeing, then we have a late brunch and at The W Hotel. Happy Sunday!
